Community Partnerships

New Shoe Day partners with youth-serving organizations by providing new shoes to empower them to thrive. We believe a new pair of shoes can be the spark for positive change and be a pathway to wellness, community, and movement.

“New Shoe Day saved my team from going from 40 to less than 20—just by providing the right shoes for my athletes. We often have quite a few of our kids show up to practice wearing only Crocs, or only their everyday shoes.  New Shoe Day has allowed me—and my kiddos—to focus on running and having fun, instead of the budgeting and the ‘hows’ of running.”

"New Shoe Day has allowed us the opportunity to provide for the student athletes the one thing in which we do not provide for them to participate. We value the essence of athletics being an extension of the classroom but realize that it is also more. Proper footwear is sometimes the make-or-break point for whether a student will play a sport.

We have noticed that our teams are looking more cohesive on and off the field/court/mat/track. We can thank New Shoe day in being a part of the positive change we are seeing in our athletes."

“We were able to use the shoes to provide new shoes for a family of four students that all had old worn out shoes.  At least two of the four children were wearing shoes two sizes too small for their feet.  At least twice this year, we have had students coming in shoes that were literally falling apart. Kids are always so grateful when they get a new pair of socks and shoes… it’s very nice to be able to get kids something they can feel good in.”

“I have spent years trying to call different shoe companies and stores. When I heard about New Shoe Day, I honestly thought it was too good to be true.  Casey and his team made it so easy, so quick, and honestly, so exciting for myself and my athletes.  They even went above and beyond and provided my athletes with running spikes for competition, and that is just the coolest thing that has ever happened to me. “
